OUR HISTORY

 

Spirit Filled Way of Life Bible Fellowship began as a weekly Saturday night bible study at the home of Pastor Elvis and Sister Berhane Coombs in Humble, Texas on September 10, 2011.

 

In May of 2012, we began having Saturday evening and Sunday morning praise and worship services inside Greenspoint Mall in North Houston.

 

In August 2012, after less than three months in Greenspoint, and with less than 60 active members, we hosted our first annual back to school back-pack drive.  We provided back packs and school supplies at absolutely no cost to 200 families in the Greenspoint and North Houston community.

In November 2012 Way of Life Bible Fellowship provided full groceries and Thanksgiving Dinner for 50 families in the Greenspoint and North Houston Area.  Through our ongoing relationship with Mission Greenspoint, we also provided warm clothing for needy families in the Greenspoint area.

Since moving to Greenspoint in May 2012, we have maintained an active homeless outreach ministry that includes providing food, clothing, encouragement, and counseling for the homeless community in the Greenspoint and North Houston area.

 

We hosted our second annual back to school back-pack drive in August 2013 and provided back-packs and back to school supplies for more than 400 students.  We moved to our current location at 4719 Atascocita Road, Humble, TX 77346 in September 2013.
