Olaide Banks of Banks & Associates and Ben Aderholt of Coats | Rose will speak to the participants of the Construction Contractors College on January 27, 2015.
Ben Aderholt is a renowned constuction litigation attorney with the firm of Coats | Rose and adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law. Olaide Banks is the lead attorney at Banks & Associates with expertise in government contracting, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract reporting systems. The participants will be the first graduating class of the Kingdom Builders Construction Contractors' College.
The Construction Contractors’ College (CCC) is a program of The Entrepreneurs’ Learning Center at The Kingdom Builders’ Center (The KBC). The program launched in the Spring of 2014 with a curriculum shaped by a committee of representatives from certifying agencies, experienced contractors, and successful small businesses.
The class are held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Kingdom Builders’ Center located at 6011 West Orem Drive; Houston, TX 77085. The overall goal of the CCC is to help small and minority business owners in construction and construction services who have been in business at least one year. The CCC is designed to prepare owners to bid on contracts in the public and private sectors.
